Northampton General Hospital
Ultra received a high value order for protecting the vulnerable areas of the hospital using the Ultra Mist low pressure water mist system.
With the pump and tank sizes being smaller than traditional sprinklers the hospital were confident in keeping disruption to patients to a minimum.
Mapress fittings allowed a quick installation using stainless steel pipework and tight project management and planning ensured completion on time and in budget.

Building protection using Ultra Mist low pressure water mist at 4-12 Bar. The discrete cover plates protecting the recessed fast response nozzles drop into the room when activated. Each nozzle has an incredible 25m² coverage reducing the number of nozzles and using 40% of the water normally associated with sprinklers. Less nozzles, smaller pipes, pumps and tanks.
