The main kitchens provide catering services for the campus and demanded an Ansul commercial kitchen fire suppression system that could be installed during the night so as not to interfere with a busy environment.

Ansul systems are internationally approved and are occupying a small space in a crowded kitchen.

Fletchers Food Factory

Food process fire protection sometimes requires a ‘Belt and Braces’ method of design. The primary system is high pressure water mist (Ultra Fog) and is further protected using an approved Ansul Chemical fire suppression system that is controlled using a sophisticated ‘cause and effect’ electronic programme. Heat probes are located throughout the processes to accurately direct the fire suppression.
